The U.K. is a major international player in power engineering and power generation industries. Because of a growing interest and potential application in the gas turbine technology as an advanced technology machine, gas turbine performance and component simulation decision making becomes more and more important. It consists of a lot of mathematical skills like non-linear equation solution, optimisation, neural network and general algorithm, thermodynamics and computational fluid dynamics as well as financial management. Power utilities and turbine manufactures requires able, well-trained, individuals with new advanced and world-class skills; to enable British organisations to provide high-quality products and services as well as optimise the performance of power plants. The novel Masters training package proposed here offers the combination of technical, managerial and financial knowledge needed to make an immediate contribution in this high technology industry. Course members could get advanced training courses at gas turbine performance simulation and could meet the U.K. power industries' analysis and marketing.
