Summary on Grant Application Form |
The programme involves the development of a magnetic resonance scanner for breast imaging. Using some innovative concepts the technology will be developed through a partnership between CLRC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, the Institute of Cancer Research and Specialty Magnetics Ltd. The aim is to produce a scanner which will enable breast imaging to be easily performed without using a whole body machine.
