The London Mathematical Society Durham Symposia are research symposia of 10 days duration held in July each year. They bring together mathematicians from the UK and leading overseas experts for exchange of ideas and concentrated research, through lectures combined with opportunity for informal discussion.This symposium will bring together experts to work in three general areas:- Earth and planetary fluid cores, and low Rm-MHD:- Solar and stellar connection zones, atmospheres and winds;- Accretion discs, jets and galactic dynamos.
