|
This research addresses the problem of determining the solution space in the development of large complex distributed applications based on heterogeneous software components. The proposed approach is that of determining the potentially N-dimensional design space of such systems and to attempt an elaboration of such a design space based on study of specific distributed applications. These case studies will form the basis for the evaluation phase where the use of the design spaces to support evolution will be investigated.
