|
The aim of this project is to investigate some questions in the study of bundles over algebraic curves. This is an important area of research in algebraic geometry and the structures that arise have been of interest in other areas of mathematics and in theoretical physics. The research aims at obtaining some new information on some of these structures combining the expertise of the PI and the VF. More precisely we shall look at questions of existence of universal bundles for the moduli spaces of G-bundles over algebraic curves for a reductive group Go We shall also investigate some of the consequences of the existence or non-existence of such universal bundles.
