Summary on Grant Application Form
We shall continue our collaboration with our Swiss colleagues in the further development and use of the slow muon instrument. In particular, we shall be concerned with the design and commissioning of a purpose - built muon moderator cryostat and new transverse field coils and we shall collaborate with colleagues at the University of Zurich in obtaining new results with slow muons in samples provided by ourselves and old and new collaborators in thin film, super conductivity and magnetism communities. We shall continue to advertise the new possibilities of slow muons to these communities and to muSR workers.
