Summary on Grant Application Form |
SummaryThe main aim of our proposed network is to facilitate and encourage the research to provide a springboard to make the jump form bench scale research to the commercial application of chemically modified mesoporous inorganic solids as heterogeneous catalysts and as selective absorbents. It is expected the network will promote collaboration between workers in the areas of: Synthesis and characterisation of new porous materials; Heterogeneous Catalysis; Absorbency and controlled release; Materials FabricationKey areas identified where application of interdisciplinary research would be beneficial are: CatalysisAbsorbency and trapping.
