Summary on Grant Application Form
Much of the current literature on performance management fails to address how to achieve improvement in external supply chain management. This research project is directed towards redressing this lacunae by developing further current research at the CBSP into the analysis of power structures in supply chains.Existing work at the CBSP demonstrates that few companies focus on the drivers, as opposed to the outcomes of performance improvement. In particular, few companies appear to understand the need for performance improvement tools and techniques based on the analysis of power. This project will analyse the benefits of power-based tools and techniques and assist companies in the testing of the efficacy of such tools through practical implementation in specific supply chain circumstances.EngProg\
