The proposed project is a proof-of-concept study of a novel porous ceramic/heat-pipe cooler for passive cooling of buildings. The objectives of the proposed investigation are 1) to carry out laboratory investigation the performance of a ceramic evaporative cooler which is integrated with a heat pipe in the laboratory, 2) to investigate the combination of the ceramic cooler with chilled ceiling, using experiments and theoretical analysis.EngProg\
