1. To provide a thorough initial (i.e. entry-level) high quality training for professional statisticians, providing good general coverage of the subject in an up-to-date way.2. To train at least 70 people to Masters level over 5 years with a high proportion (at least 75%) being in, or going on, to relevant employment.3. To build on our experience in delivering full-time training to residential students at this level by developing a part-time distance-learning version of the course.
