Summary on Grant Application Form |
It is intended to introduce a radically new road Masters programme that reflects the way that government is directing industry to be more innovative, efficient and customer orientated. The programme will allow the specialisation necessary in both management and in engineering. The two themes will share common core subjects. It will be taught in a research led flexible modular framework with both full and part time options and to enable elements of these programmes to be taken as stand alone CPD courses. This will be achieved by bringing together the regional resources of the Departments of Civil Engineering at Birmingham and Nottingham - the premier research universities specialising in the sector - with the established support of industry.
