Summary on Grant Application Form |
With telecommunications technologies and the Internet becoming the cornerstone of modern economic development, there is an increasing need for people with the skills needed to design and manage the telecommunications networks. This is not a static goal as the technology, and the demands placed upon it, are evolving at an ever-increasing rate. The scope of this training package is to provide two MSc programs, Telecommunications Technology and Internet Technology . The aim of these programs is to prepare students, who will already have a technical background, with the requisite specialist knowledge and skills to develop and manage current systems and to adapt to the changing face of communications and Internet technology. On completing the programs, the students should be able to take active roles in a wide range of areas within the telecommunications industry.
