To address problems in the interface between spectral geometry and partial differential equations in particular(i) lower bounds for the principal eigenvalue,(ii) lower bounds for the spectral gap,(iii) eigenvalue ratios,(iv) multiplicity of eigenvalues,(v) nodal lines,(vi) L( - estimates for the first eigenfunctions,(vii) the hot spots conjecture,(viii) boundary behaviour of eigenfunctions, and isospectral problems.
