Summary on Grant Application Form |
Software is required to receive from the proposed IRIS filter pair a (possibly dirty) data stream and clean it. It is then required accurately to calibrate the sensor array in the presence of known gas - this will use a model of the device but will have to derive precise estimates of centre wavelengths on the basis of observation. The degree of crosstalk between sensors is not yet known, but will be dynamically measured and suitable compensatory measures developed.
