The programme will construct novel design analysis tools for vehicle electrical systems, and will extend the capability of existing tools. This will be achieved by linking a commercial quantitative simulator (Saber) with the qualitative simulation and functional information used in previous world-leading design analysis tools produced on previous research grants at UW Aberystwyth. Through case studies provided by the industrial collaborators, the project will explore the effectiveness of the tools produced, and the process issues involved in delivering such tools to engineers.
