Professor S Pohozaev will continue the analysis of existence and non-existence for non-linear elliptic problems from electrolysis based on his fibering method. The joint investigation with Professor V Galaktionov on blow-up in such evolution systems will be based on his recent ideas in the theory of asymptotic methods.
