Summary on Grant Application Form |
Novel phosphorescence labels will be synthesised and incorporated into a variety of polymers to aloow relaxation processes and macromolecular interactions to be studied. A principal objective is to develop the novel, but potentially extremely powerful ,technique of time resolved phosphorescence anisotropy, into a recognised tool for the study of the dynamic behaviour of polymers in a variety of complex and technologically important systems.
