We will run a symposium in topology throughout the year with four workshops (September, January, April and July) as focal points. The subject areas that we will cover will be: Gauge theory, quantum field theory, 3 and 4 - manifolds, elliptic genus, connections with Physics, elliptic cohomology, conformal field theory, analysis on loop spaces, knot theory, enrichment of the chain complex and singular spaces.
