Summary on Grant Application Form |
Work on photonic crystals in various forms an important part of the activities of the Optoelectronics Group in the Dept of physics at the University ofBath. We have 4 EPSRC funded projects in related areas. In all of these areas are role is chiefly that of device characterisation modelling and design. Two further projects, on spontaneous emission in strongly guilding fibres and multi-core pjhotonic crystal fibres, are supported by the quantum optics and fibre sensor groups at DERA Malvern.
