Summary on Grant Application Form |
The project is one of four complementary core research projects within the PRIME Faraday Partnership. It focuses on the modelling and understanding of cost in the early stages of packaging decision at the module or sub system level. The project will result in tested tools and methodologies to help resolve the trade offs between life cycle cost, size, function and manufacturability in products where electronic is intimately integrated within a mechanical system of where the mechanical performance of the electronics is critical.
