Summary on Grant Application Form
This proposal is about leading member of software engineering and information systems communities in both computer science and management departments forming a network collaborating to discover the links between the disciplines in academia and outside, debating conflicts and misunderstandings, proposing best practice and disseminating this best practice to academia and industry. The emphasis is on empirical research. We will hold 2 meetings annually of the co-investigators and collaborators for a three-year period. Along with the 2 meetings there will be 1 workshop annually (associated with the second meeting) which we hope will attract SE and IS academics and practitioners at large, with published proceedings. We intend also to se up web pages, newsletters, and a mailing list as well as be represented through conference and journal papers.
