Summary on Grant Application Form |
A variety of applied problems in quantum physics, fluid and gas dynamics with non-smooth coefficients. It is proposed to investigate the connection between quantitative properties of coefficients of the equations and quantitative and qualitative properties of the solutions. The problems to be studied include existence, smoothness and uniqueness of the solutions in different functional spaces. The main emphasis will be in obtaining Gaussian estimates for fundamental solutions for problems with different types of singularities and different boundary conditions occurring in applied problems.
