Summary on Grant Application Form
The purpose of this 'starter' proposal is to assess the value of continuos desktop production technology to the fine chemical and pharmaceutical industries. In parallel with a technical evaluation of spinning disc reactors on the industrial collaborators sites, the industrial business process will be analyzed in order to identify the principal incentives and obstacles involved in the exploitation of this new technology. As a result of this preliminary work, a much more comprehensive proposal will be submitted in about 15 months. This will be intended to demonstrate how SDR technology can be commercially exploited as rapidly as possible.
