Summary on Grant Application Form |
The increasing use of domain decomposition methods in various science and engineering generates a number of interests in both the theory and applications to nonlinear industrial problems. It is intended to bring mathematicians and scientists to meet at an international meeting for the exchange of ideas and experiences. This meeting will be used to discuss current trend and development of domain decomposition for non-linear industrial problems. In particular, reviewing recent progress in the analysis and theory of domain decomposition for such industrial applications is an important aspect of the meeting.Exploring new application areas of industrial applications is another important aspect of the meeting. Parallel and distributed computing issues will also be addressed. Both experience of algorithmic development and numerical tools will be discussed and examined. The requirements for industrial sector will receive particular attention.
