Summary on Grant Application Form |
Description and matching of surfaces and volumes, in the context of early detection of breast cancer. Recent work by the proposers has shown how to compute a surface representation of anatomy from x-ray mammograms. We are also developing (3D) breast MT. These is a need to describe and match such surfaces and volumes for the same patient over time, across views, and for different patients. We aim to integrate x-ray and MR.
