Summary on Grant Application Form |
Epr spectroscopy will be used to investigate metal radicals in co-ordination, organometallic, materials and catalytic chemistry. A range of new macrocyclic species will be investigated, and new imido and alkylidene complexes, and bioinorganic model compounds synthesised. Materials chemistry of transition metal nitrides, oxides and sulphides will be developed, and new environmental control catalysts investigated. Epr studies on new imaging and therapeutic reagents, and on coatings for enhanced biocompatability will be undertaken.
