Summary on Grant Application Form |
The grant is requested to keep the EPSRC Mass Spectrometry Service Centre running efficiently for a further period of 4 years to March 2000. The Centre supports the research of several hundred EPRC chemistry grant holders, ERSRC post-doctoral research assistants and EPSRC post-graduate students in many universities in the UK. During the past 12 months the analyses provided by the Centre were cited in 396 publications in the chemical literature: clear evidence of the requirement which the UK chemical community has for the continuation of the Centres activities.
