Summary on Grant Application Form |
This project aims to create a software simulator for design optimisation of multi-element acoustic systems operating in the range 250kHz-2MHz.The work is an extension of a previously successful project (GR/H1740) and will address more efficient meshing algorithms for creation of sohisticated targets; modelling of elecronically phased arrays that suffer from inter-element cross coupling; incorporation of multi-path reflection and scattering; incorporation of beam forming and imaging algorithms; code optimisation and creation of a use-friendly operator interface.
