Summary on Grant Application Form |
Factors which control the novel hydrogen-bonding - interdigitation multilayering in ultrathin films of resorcarenes will be investigated with respect to (1) podal chain length and structure (2) stabilisation of multilayers by inter-podal polymerisation (3) the importance of dispersion forces relative to hydrogen bonding (4) obstruction of hydrogen bonding by adjacent functions.
