Summary on Grant Application Form |
This project will investigate the potential for modelling the heat and power demand and supply assiciated with large groups of buildings such as those found on estates. It is increasingly the case that building estates are served by integrated local energy systems ofen combining with renewable energy sources. The appropriate design of the estate and its energy systems will depend on the effective prediction of the estate energy demand profile, and then providing an appropriate energy supply system to match. The project will seek to extend building energy demand and supply modelling techniques to enable the efficient design of large groups of buildings and their energy systems.
