Summary on Grant Application Form |
The aim is to provide new understanding of the physico-chemical origins of interfacial properties of different flowing surface films. Surface light scattering (SLS) will be used to measure the surface tensions, elasticities and viscosities simultaneously and the surface will be subjected to different flow rates and regimes. This will show how dynamic properties can be optimised by varying the chemical composition of the films.
