Summary on Grant Application Form |
The existing instrumentation on the Mansion House will be assessed and re-calibrated. Where possible, additional instrumentation will be installed for measuring relative horizontal movement.Opportunities will be sought for monitoring nearby buildings which have been influenced by the tunnelling.Full sets of instrument readings will be taken at least once every two months. A complete review will be carried out of the soil-structure interaction effects of long term subsidence due to tunnelling.
