Summary on Grant Application Form |
The proposed research is the University of York contribution to the EMC Aspects of Future Radio-based Mobile Telecommunication Systems project. Our contribution covers the electromagnetic aspects of the research and is concerned with the prediction of the unwanted interchange of electromagnetic energy between active devices in personal communication radio tranceivers, and ensembles of such devices, and active devices in other large electronic systems, for example, wired Information Technology (IT) networks. We propose to use a variety of computational techniques with appropriate measurements for verification purposes. Our work is closely linked with that of the other collaborators in the project.
