Summary on Grant Application Form |
The project is designed to produce effective supported microporous (Zeolite) films which can function as microporous membranes for both separations and for separations-catalysed reactions and to generate appropriate models at the molecular and processing levels. To this end, and experimental programme at UMIST involving the preparation characterisation and initial screening of membranes will be linked to molecular modelling studies at the Royal Institutions and Process Modelling and experimental testing at Imperial College.
