|
During the Phase I project a range of advanced multimedia systems have been proposed. The Phase 2 project endeavours to further improve the design of the system components which were proposed for existing fixed-rate second generation systems, such as GSM, IS-54, IS-95, etc in order to innovate in the field of fully adaptive third generation systems.The main required features are a versatile multimedia service and channel-, traffic- and service-adaptive operation.
