Summary on Grant Application Form |
Stable Generalized Predictive Control (SGPC) overcomes the stability problems of its precursor, the Generalized Predictive Control (GPC) strategy. The aim of the current project is to extend SGPC so that it addresses problems of practical importance, such as the presence of disturbances, model uncertainty, input/output constraints, nonlinearities, the existence of more than 1 input/output, and the need to make control and identification algorithms mutually supportive. All the derived results are to be implemented in a user friendly SIMULINK package which will be tried on industrial models.
