|
This project aims to adapt developed revenue-oriented mathematical models and algorithms for ATM/SDH network planning to real-time network management. These software tools will be extended to include integrated consideration of future lightwave transport technology employing optical switching and wavelength division multiplexing (WDM). The result will be an integrated ATM/SDH/WDM network planning tool and a prototype real-time network management system.
