Summary on Grant Application Form
This is a joint project between the University of Teeside and Edinburgh University in which pulsatile flow in baffled tubes will be studied using the Particle Image Velocimetry flow mapping technique. The objective is a systematic examination of the basic mechanisms by which mixing is enhanced by a combination of oscillation and periodically spaced baffles.
