Summary on Grant Application Form |
To exploit Large Eddy Simulation (LES) for a broad range of engineering applications in which non-stochastic, time-dependent processes are important. To extend LES to complex geometrics by use of general numerical grids. To investigate a range of subgrid-scale models and identify best practices, particularly in near-wall regions, the latter exploiting low-Re DNS studies.
