Summary on Grant Application Form |
To assess the weldability of high strength steel weld metals. In particular to examine welding process requirements to avoid hydrogen cracking with minimum preheat requirements, to assess toughness, particularly when using high productivity welding processes, and to assess the corrosion fatigue performance of candidate weld metals for use with 500 and 700Pa yield.
