The main objective of the proposed Starter Grant will be to provide minor equipment and consumables for the steady-state and nanosecond time-resolved laser studies detailed in the Fellowship Application Case for Support which are complementary to the ultrafast studies (already supported under GR/G41870 - further full application to follow in 1995).
