Summary on Grant Application Form
The overall aim is to investigate the fundamental surface chemistry of solid/liquid systems and the sequential programme will be to:1. Develop pure particles/liquid systems showing a wide range of wetting behaviour.2. Investigate oil adsorption onto hydrophobic coatings.3. Relate wetting behaviour to stability of films, foams and emulsions containing solid microparticles.
