To develop algorithms that correlate data from many of the sensors used in seabed surveys, for example, fusing bathymetry and sidescan, while taking into account multiple surveys over the same area. Five research areas have been highlighted. (1) The acquisition and integration of raw multi sensor data. (2) Multi dimensional signal processing for data interpolation and extrapolation. (3) Data geometric distortion corrections. (4) Representation of data for efficient storage. (5) Graphical representation of multi variate data.
