Summary on Grant Application Form |
The work proposed draws together system and device activities at Oxford to investigate design options for high data-rate free-space local area optical networks such as might be used within a building. The device work will focus on the possibilities of developing an externally modulated LED transmitter. Systems design will be based on CDMA techniques with TDMA access for users.
