a) To understand behavioural patterns of joints and the interdependence of material make up, joint geometry, loading schemes and ply strains; b) To conduct a series of structural tests on a series of sandwich tee joints ana map failure paths; c) To extend an existing analytical formulation covering single skin tee joints to sandwich configurations and validate it using above test results; d) To demonstrate the application of this scheme to practical design situations.
