Summary on Grant Application Form |
The proposed project seeks to complete the second year studies of Phase 2 originally aimed at developing a self-curing concrete system by incorporating into concrete specific types of admixtures. The project has advanced to a stage where concrete mixes remains to be tested for a series of performance criteria, including durability. A limited number of small scale structural elements will also be tested to study reinforcement bond, load deflections and pre-stress losses.
