(i) to develop a broad-line magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system for targeted investigation of short T2 tissue. (ii) to explore the normal anatomy of the human finger, including tissue components currently not visible using conventional MRI techniques. (iii) assessment of the feasibility of employing broad-line techniques for other parts of the anatomy using targeted MRI systems.
