Summary on Grant Application Form |
1.To establish a rock engineering design approach for mining methods that improves on current rock mass classification techniques.2.In a systematic way to identify which aspects of mining methods are sensitive to which rock properties and rock mechanisms, and hence to be able to evaluate the significance of rock engineering parameters for mining.3.To establish a methodology for assessing candidate mining design methods according to comprehensive rock property and rock mechanisms systems analysis.
