Summary on Grant Application Form |
The project will carry out research into an emulation environment for real time control of electrical drives. The objective is to allow the subfunctions of a drive control system be simulated on real time hardware within a drive simulation environment. The modular hardware is directly transportable into the target drive system. This results in only one stage of software development. the risk of design errors appearing in target drives are therefore reduced as the complete controller design is implemented once only.
