Summary on Grant Application Form |
The synthesis and characterisation of a new class of cyclic liquid crystal polymers including the isolation of configurational isomers by HPLC. To investigate the physical properties of these systems in relation to their linear analogues. To prepare sharp fractions of cyclic and linear polysiloxanes and to produce from these materials liquid crystalline compounds. (See North east Wales Institute GR/H 79648).
